Hop Latent Viroid (HLVd) is a single-strand, circular, infectious RNA. The viroid can remain latent and asymptomatic in Cannabis for extended periods. HLVd was first found in Hops and was reported in Cannabis in 2018. It is one of the most destructive disease threatening cannabis industry.

Our proprietary plant pathogen detection assay provides a high-throughput, low-cost solution for cannabis cultivators. MFDetect™ combines two established technologies to accurately identify pathogens, like Hop Latent Viroid.
