Hop Latent Viroid (HLVd) is a single-strand, circular, infectious RNA. The viroid can remain latent and asymptomatic in Cannabis for extended periods. HLVd was first found in Hops and was reported in Cannabis in 2018. It is one of the most destructive disease threatening cannabis industry.
