It is primarily spread during feeding by the greenhouse whitefly, a common pest in cannabis and hemp cultivation. LCV can also be transmitted through the use of infected plant material, such as seeds or cuttings, or by contaminated tools and equipment.
Our proprietary plant pathogen detection assay provides a high-throughput, low-cost solution for cannabis cultivators. MFDetect™ combines two established technologies to accurately and rapidly identify pathogenic viruses, like Lettuce Chlorosis Virus.
