The Flower Failure Pathogen Panel™ is designed to test for pathogens associated with pre-harvest flower failure, including flower collapse, internal rot, and patchy bud loss. This multiplex qPCR pathogen panel assay screens for Botrytis cinerea, Fusarium oxysporum, and Fusarium solani in a single test, reducing guesswork, cost, and diagnostic time.

The Flower Failure Pathogen Panel™ is a multiplex molecular diagnostic assay developed to investigate infectious causes of flower collapse, internal rot, and yield loss occurring prior to harvest. These symptoms are often first detected late in the production cycle, when corrective options are limited and losses can escalate quickly.

This panel simultaneously detects:

  • Botrytis cinerea, the primary causal agent of bud rot in cannabis, responsible for rapid flower collapse and internal tissue degradation.
  • Fusarium oxysporum, a soilborne fungal pathogen that can contribute to systemic stress and impaired flower development.
  • Fusarium solani, associated with tissue breakdown, compromised plant health, and reduced final yield.
